Redfield Vintage 3200 20x Smallbore Rifle Target Scope withCase 23.5 Inches Long
This is a vintage Redfield 20x Smallbore Rifle Target Scope. I believe it is a Model 3200. 50 yards, 50 meters, 100 yards. Screw-off end and lens caps. I assume it is a 40mm lens based on information on other Model 3200s. This scope belonged to my late husband, Richard Aldis, who was a. 22 small bore prone competitor/shooter. He was a gunsmith and machinist. He gave me this scope to use on my Anschutz. 22 to use in small bore prone matches. I don't know a lot about it except that it was and is a wonderful scope. I stopped competing after having brain surgery about 30 years ago. And Rich became disabled with Pompes Disease (a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy), so we stopped competing in matches. This scope helped me to win many of the matches I did get to attend. There is nothing wrong with it, but it is time for someone else to enjoy it. Condition as shown in photos. The case has one bad latch, but otherwise in fine condition.
Never exposed to smoke, perfume, scent of any kind. Still shiny black and no dings, just one spot on end that has a bit of finish off it.
Shown in photo of close up of lens end. I've held onto this scope for sentimental reasons. I know how much Rich valued his equipment, and so did I.
We treated our rifles and all the accessories with the utmost care and love. It's just time to pass it on.
